Horizon 2020 symposium with Dr. Michael Galsworthy

The 3rd December will take place an international conference entitled " Innovation perspectives in food science in Europe by utilization of financial sources of Horizon 2020 framework programme". The event will be held in the Oratorium Artium Pyrkerianum of Eszterházy Károly College (H-3300 Eger, Eszterházy sqr. 1.) on, Tuesday, 03.12.2013.

The aim of the symposium is to present the efforts made towards enhancing the position of Central and Eastern Europe in the forthcoming Horizon 2020 framework programme. The highlight of our programme is the presentation of Dr. Michael Galsworthy (University College London): The Underfunding of Health Related Research in Eastern Europe within European Union Framework Programmes.
Our Slovak and Ukrainian partners from the Cassovia Life Sciences association will also attend the symposium.
The event offers a great networking opprtunity for representatives of the Hungarian, Slovakian and Ukrainian R&D sectors.

10.00 – Prof. Dr. Nadiya Boyko D.Sc. (Professor, Director of R&D Centre of Molecular Microbiology and Mucosal Immunology, Uzhhorod National University): Horizon 2020 opportunities for life science research in Eastern Europe
10.20 – Dr. habil. Attila Kiss (Director, Food Science Institute, Eszterházy Károly College): Role of participance of industrial partners and clusters in innovation projects and providing sustainable societal impact.
