MIRRIS COACHING SEMINAR: an Activity Plan to increase the Slovene participation

MIRRIS and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia, have gathered today a high level group of stakeholders, notable decision makers within the Ministry as well as representatives of the Slovene Research Agency and Council for Science and Technology of Slovenia to work together on the policy and support measures that would stimulate further internalisation of Slovene science. The scheme was presented by MIRRIS Coordinator, META. The purpose of this MIRRIS Coaching Seminar is to transfer the knowledge and operational experience on the above noted topic in a very practical way to allow the organisations in charge of implementing activities to focus on critical factors and to design the most appropriate actions and tools with the purpose of wider outreach.

The workshop was based on the experience of Alessia Melasecche Germini, CEO of META, who has more than 10 years of experience in acting as Consultant, Expert and Manager in international innovation and R&D projects co-funded by the European Commission and other national and international donors. Ms. Melasecche Germini is also a Member of Réseau du Pays du Groupe Visegrad, the Association that groups European Universities and Research Centres and deals with the transformations that have occurred to the European economic, social and cultural system.

The MIRRIS coaching activities aim to provide EU13 Member States with practical experience to design and implement novel tools to enhance the participation of national R&D organisations and SMEs in H2020. The coaching focuses on priorities selected at the end of a participative open process that resulted in a roadmap of priority solutions.
